Event planning
The Street Festival as the flagship event of 2025, began with a concept design phase to define its aims and expected outcomes. In March 2025, a team was formed, including ULL core members, student assistants, the City Architect Office working team, the architectural design team, and key external stakeholders from Haakon VII Street. To coordinate planning and implementation, three task forces were established: an AR Test Team, a Mini-Exhibition Team, and a Physical Modelling Team. While these teams worked on specific tasks, the core ULL team collaborated closely with the City Architect’s Office to design the event venue, secure necessary permits, invite local stakeholders and community members from the Lade area, and manage logistics. In the final phase of planning, ULL Trondheim also developed a framework for collecting data and feedback during the event to support future co-creation and urban transformation efforts.
