ENACT15mC at AESOP 2025

The ENACT15mC team was honoured to host a roundtable at the 37th AESOP – Association of European Schools of Planning Annual Congress in Istanbul, focusing on “Planning as a Transformative Action in an Age of Planetary Crisis”. Represented by ENACT 15mC team members Piotr Lorens, Astrid Krisch, Nurgul Yardim Mericliler and Jan Cudzik, our session brought together experts and practitioners to discuss integrating co-creation methods and digital tools (including AR/VR) in urban planning. We also discussed the lessons learned from four Urban Living Labs across Europe. One core element of the discussion was strategies for overcoming barriers to inclusive and sustainable public spaces. We have agreed that ‘co-creation’ is essential for building resilient, people-cantered neighbourhoods. There is a strong need to combine innovative technologies with traditional methods to enhance public participation. Shared experiences across cities allow us to accelerate the path toward more accessible and attractive urban environments.
