Highlights from the Oxford ULL Workshop 2

A recap video from Oxford Urban Living Lab, 2025

The second Oxford Urban Living Lab (ULL) workshop was held on Saturday 5th April 2025 at Oxford Brookes University’s Headington Campus.

This day-long event built upon the ideas and maps developed during the first session. Participants explored specific features and community ‘assets’ to help reimagine the Florence Park neighbourhood. The morning began with a presentation from SUSTRANS, a partner of Oxford Urban Living Lab, showcasing its ongoing street improvement projects.

Following this, participants worked in groups to visualise potential changes to their neighbourhood and identify relevant digital assets. In the afternoon, attendees were introduced to Augmented and Virtual Reality technologies, engaging with them through iPads and the Brookes VR cave. To conclude the day, each group presented their vision for the future of Florence Park.
